Celebrity hairstylist David Babaii has revealed how he created Nicole Kidman’s on-trend hairstyle for this year’s Grammy Awards, as the star shone on the red carpet with her super sleek, blunt bob.
“The cut is the foundation for any look,” says David, who began by cutting Nicole’s hair into a true, blunt bob with no layering.
For control while cutting, David sprayed Nicole’s locks with the Miracle Elixir Nourishing Oil (RRP $29.95) , a leave-in conditioning spray that, according to David, “provides instant shine and the ultimate smooth while helping to seal the hairs end and create a perfect, lustrous finish.”
After the cut, David styled Nicole’s hair with the Instant Straight Smoothing Balm (RRP $24.50) . Warming a small amount in his hands, David applied the heat-activated balm through hair before running it through the flat iron. “This product is designed especially for frizzy, wavy or curly hair and is the instant answer to taming frizz and create perfectly straight tresses that defy the elements,” he said.
David finished Nicole’s flawless look with a light spritz of Finished Styling Spray (RRP $24.50), “for memory hold and touchable softness”, to last throughout music’s night of nights.
